From MedTech to drug development, is it a big step?
I am driven by challenges and am convinced that setbacks can be turned to strength. My 20 years in science and MedTech is a good experience that I will bring to Lipum. I find it very exciting to start working in the pharmaceutical industry. I enjoy to coordinate and make sure things are done.
You are originally from Umeå. How does it feel to come back to the north of Sweden?
When I sold my company MD Biomedical AB to Senzime AB in Uppsala, I continued to work four years for Senzime with product development, market and sales. It was fun and simulating, but when I got the opportunity to start working as COO at Lipum, I felt it was time for new challenges. Umeå is the place where we want to live.
What about the future?
Lipum is a very interesting company in an exciting phase of development. First there is the clinical phase and then we aim for the product launch. It´s going to be a very inspiring experience!
